Our
Beliefs
That all political power and
influence should flow from the grass roots upward.
That all human rights are granted
by God, not government and that government exists primarily to protect the
God-given rights of its citizens.
That the Constitution was written
by wise men under the inspiration of God and that the original intent of the
Founders is as valid and binding today as it was in their day.
That the Constitution was written
to govern a moral and religious people and it is being destroyed by those who
are neither.
That the unborn child has a
fundamental individual right to life which cannot be infringed. That sacred
right extends to all persons regardless of age or infirmity and also would not
allow for euthanasia, assisted suicide, or public funding for any of these
practices.
That the traditional family is the
foundation and cornerstone of our society and we will oppose any attempt to
undermine or redefine the family unit.
That the founders never intended to
separate God from government but did intend to prevent government from
establishing a single state religion or inhibiting the citizen's right to the
free exercise of religion in any setting, public or private.
That free market capitalism is the
only economic system that creates the opportunities and incentives that will
allow maximum productivity and prosperity for its citizens. It is the necessary
partner of political freedom.
In the necessity of national
sovereignty, we also consider it crucial to return to appropriate state
sovereignty under the 10th amendment.
Our Principles
We pledge our allegiance to up the precious Constitution as originally
intended by our country's founding fathers. We hold to our principles over
politics.
Statement of Principles
of the National Federation of Republican Assemblies
That this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of
freedom-and that government of the people, by the people, for the people shall

We, the members of the National Federation of Republican
Assemblies, joined in congress this Ninth Day of August, Nineteen Hundred and
Ninety Seven, humbly thank Almighty God for the freedoms and liberties we so
abundantly enjoy as Americans. We believe that God is the source of eternal
truth and law as revealed in Holy Scripture. We pledge our allegiance to uphold
the precious Constitution as originally intended by our country's Founding
Fathers. We hold to principles over politics.
We have joined ourselves together within the Republican Party to achieve our
common goals - to give definition and strength to the Conservative movement
within these United States. In these, we proudly affirm our belief in the
following principles:
- This nation was established by men humbly seeking the guidance of Almighty
God. Our hope for God to bless our country exists only if we again seek his
Divine guidance.
- We support the United States Constitution in the tradition of the Founding
Fathers as the Supreme law of the land.
- The power of the Federal Government must be strongly bound by the chains
of the Constitution to allow maximum individual achievement through freedom.
- Our country is a sovereign nation. We must never compromise our national
sovereignty to other nations, the United Nations, or any other world
organization. Our Foreign Policy must always reflect our national
self-interest.
- Our Founding Fathers firmly held to the conviction that religious freedom
was fundamental to a free society. We also express the conviction that we
are a God-fearing people, according one another the equal right of religious
freedom and acknowledging with reverence the duty of obedience to the will
of God.
- Our individual states have sovereign authority to govern the lands and
peoples with their borders. We will not abide usurpation of state
sovereignty by Federal mandate or economic extortion.
- The sanctity of human life is paramount in any free society. The unborn
child has a fundamental individual right to life which cannot be infringed.

research, human cloning or public funding for any of these practices.
- We believe that each of us should be free to achieve or fail according to
our individual abilities, without the need for governmental assistance or
quotas.
- Taxes should serve only to pay for the enumerated Constitutional duties of
government. It is not the role of our government to penalize financial
success, nor protect from financial failure. Each citizen should share
equitably in financing the freedoms we enjoy.
- Families have been the foundation of our national strength. If we are to
endure as a free nation, the traditional family unit must be preserved and
encouraged to thrive.
- Parents bear the final responsibility before God in the rearing of their
children. Parents have been commanded by God to love their children and lead
them in the paths of truth. Parents must be free to discipline their
children in love and direct their education without government intrusion.
- When truth was taught in schools, our nation prospered. As we have
abandoned the teaching of absolutes to relativism, our children have lost
the potential to achieve greatness. Our system of education must demand
excellence rather than accommodate mediocrity.
- Private property rights are fundamental to our liberty.
- The right to keep and bear arms is fundamental to deterring government
tyranny and must be preserved without governmental interference.
- Free enterprise competition has been the engine of our national success.
Free market capitalism has its only limitation in the human imagination.
Governmental regulation of the economy must conform to Constitutional
limits.
- The first obligation of federal government is to defend its people against
enemies. To protect our citizenry in an stable world, the United States must
retain the strongest defense system in the world with their singular
objective of victory in every conflict and a complete authentic accounting
or return of every person in our armed forces captured or missing in action.
- We affirm the Constitutional prerogative of Congress alone to declare war.
The United States military should only be used to protect the national
security of the United States; executive orders or other international
bodies not excepted.
- Only men, not women, will serve in combat. Women shall not be drafted into
the armed forces.
- We condemn "man's inhumanity to man" by exploitation of slave
labor in our county or elsewhere
Our Mission
To recruit, educate, train and motivate
individuals to run for public office who are irrevocably committed to uphold and
fight for constitutional principles and the preservation of the republic.
To increase Republican voter registration.
To promote conservatism in the tradition of the
Founding Fathers.
To bring back to the Republican party those who have
been disaffected by the perception that the party has moved away from its core
principles.
To watchdog elected officials and insure their
adherence to conservative Republican principles.
To identify and oppose those individuals, groups and
agendas that would, knowingly or otherwise, bring about the loss of our freedoms
and the destruction of our republic through the violation of the constitution
and the erosion of the traditional family or public morals.
T o inform the public regarding correct principles
relative to issues and the qualifications of candidates for public office.
To maintain the integrity of the Republican party
platform based on correct moral and constitutional principles. Then to use the
platform as a criteria of accountability for elected officials.
